Taking care of environment - a decisive criterion in our processes

Being a large industrial enterprise, we are very much aware of our responsibility for ecology and society and therefore act accordingly. By numerous measures taken it is provided that the available resources are utilized efficiently, emissions minimized, legal prescriptions, regarding environmental protection adhered to, and the respective information passed on to interested authorities, such as the office of environmental protection or the general public. The investment for a new filter plant in 1999 is an example for the actions taken.

A special concept has been established for waste handling. Risk analyses laid out on prevention, measures and emergency planning assure to minimize risks, and so an efficient emergency procedure is defined. The environmental certification to ISO 14'001 is the certificate for our responsability towards ecology and economy in like manner.
